New York Jets Player Kris Boyd Hospitalized After Midtown Shooting | E! News
New York Jets player Chris Boyd is fighting for his life. According to NBC News, the NFL quarterback is currently in the hospital after being shot in New York City November 16th. The outlet reports that law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation say that Chris was involved in a fight at a Manhattan restaurant when shots were fired. Police then responded to the area of 7th Avenue and West 38th Street at around 2:00 in the morning where they found the pro alete suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was then transported to a nearby hospital with the source revealing to NBC News that the 29-year-old is currently in critical condition with a bullet lodged in his lung. The New York Police Department tells the outlet that no arrests have been made yet in connection to the shooting. A spokesperson for the New York Jets said in a statement to NBC News that the team is quote aware of the situation but have no further comment at this time. E-News has reached out to the NYPD and the Jets for comment but hasn’t yet heard back. [Music]
