Why Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos Debate Not Giving Kids Christmas Gifts | E! News

No gifts for Christmas. That’s what Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos debated on Live with Kelly and Mark November 20th. The hosting duo talking out possible gift ideas for their three adult children ahead of the holiday season with Kelly admitting she is behind this year on gift giving. Her husband Mark offering this solution, saying, quote, “Maybe we’ll just give the gift of each other this year. Kids are old now. I’m not getting them anything.” When Kelly asked if Mark meant he wasn’t giving gifts to his kiddos this year, Mark replied, quote, “They get money. Give them like a check or something and say, “Merry Christmas.” Kelly and Mark are parents to three. 28-year-old Michael, 24year-old Lola, and 22-year-old Waqen. There might be a glimmer of hope for the Consuelos brood after all, with their dad and mom having a slight change of heart at the end of the segment, agreeing everything will be scaled down this holiday season.
