Bruce Willis’ Daughter Rumer Willis Shares Heartbreaking Update Amid His Dementia Battle
Rumor Willis is giving insight into her father’s health journey. During a recent Q&A on her Instagram stories, Rumor was asked how her father Bruce Willis is doing amid his ongoing battle with fronttoal dementia, which the diehard actor was diagnosed with three years ago. To which Rumor honestly answers, I think it’s kind of a hard one to answer because the truth is is that anybody with FTD is not doing great. But He’s doing okay in terms of somebody who’s dealing with fronttotemporal dementia. Ultimately, the 37year-old says she’s thankful to still have her father in her life, even if there are occasions that she says he doesn’t recognize her. Rumor also expressed appreciation for the fact that Bruce has been able to develop a relationship with her own daughter, Lou. I’m so happy and grateful that I still get to go and hug him. I’m so grateful that when I go over there and I give him a hug, whether he recognizes me or not, that he can feel the love I’ve given him and I can feel it back from him. That I still see a spark of him and he can feel the love that I’m giving. [Music]
