Benedict Cumberbatch enjoys a rare public date night in NYC. The actor and wife Sophie Hunter posed together on the red carpet November 19th for the screening of Benedict’s upcoming film, The Thing with Feathers. For the outing, the Avenger star sports a double breasted Sue paired with a white shirt and black dress shoes. As for Sophie, she stuns in a black sequin sleeveless dress and matching heels. This red carpet moment marks a rare public appearance by the couple who’ve notoriously been private about their relationship. The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, share three sons together, 10-year-old Christopher, 8-year-old Hal, and six-year-old Finn. And while Benedict mostly keeps his family life under wraps, he did recently give insight into how he tries to maintain a good work life balance. Explaining on the August 28th episode of the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, being away from home pisses my family off. It pisses me off, too. So, we try and do as much to make that not the case. We try to work as hard as possible on making work happen here nearer home so I can get home or take them with me. [Music]
