Richard Branson Mourns Death of Wife Joan Templeman | E! News

Richard Branson mourns the loss of his wife Joan Templeman. The Virgin Group co-founder sharing the news of her death, writing on Instagram November 25th, “Heartbroken to share that Joan, my wife and partner for 50 years, has passed away.” He adds, “She was the most wonderful mom and grandmom, our kids and grandkids, could have ever wished for.” Reflecting on their life together, Branson says, “She was my best friend, my rock, my guiding light, my world. Love you forever, Joan. Together, Richard and Joan, who got married in 1989, shared kids Holly and Sam and are grandparents to four children. Though his wife remained out of the spotlight, the businessman previously gushed about the support she offered.
