Vin Diesel Supports Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson After Feud | E! News

Vin Diesel supports Dwayne The Rock Johnson following their infamous feud. The Fast and the Furious star praises former co-star Dwayne Johnson’s performance as MMA fighter Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine, posting a lengthy message reflecting on their journey together more than 2 years after they ended their public feud. Vin writes in part, “Let me celebrate Dwayne. People don’t understand what it takes to uphold a global perception every single day. I remember asking our global family who they’d love to see me work with, and a woman named Jan left a comment saying her dream was for me to collaborate with Dwayne. He adds, “What followed became one of the most dynamic pairings in cinema. Two strong personalities who pushed each other and created something unforgettable. When he stepped into Hobbes, he did it with full commitment and left an indelible mark on Universal’s character hall of fame.” Praising the smashing machine further, Vin writes, “Mark Kerr is so deserving of this moment.” And Dwayne really did it. He brought us back in time and shined doing it. Proud of you both. Vince’s post comes 10 months after he and Dwayne reunited during the 2025 Golden Globes. While presenting the award for cinematic and box office achievement, Vinn looked over at his former co-star who was sitting in the audience and smiled before calling out, “Hey, Dwayne.” Prior to their reconciliation, the Hobs and Shaw stars had traded public jabs through the years dating back to their public falling out in 2016.
