Jeremy Allen White Reveals the Name He Actually Uses in Real Life | E! News

Jeremy Ellen White is revealing the name he goes by offscreen. The Bear actor shares that he doesn’t actually go by his full professional name with his family and friends and admits to Vanity Fair in a November 18th interview, quote, “That’s not how I understand myself.” So Jeremy is just Jeremy White to those closest to him. As he admitted of his full name, quote, “It does feel like people are talking about someone I don’t know.” Similarly to other actors like Emma Stone, the 34year-old was somewhat forced into the moniker. Due to the screen actor’s guild regulations that only one person can register with any given name, and Jeremy White was already taken, the actor quips, quote, “I’d be very interested to meet him. I could talk to him and maybe see if he could allow me to have Jeremy White back.” Meanwhile, Emma, whose real name is Emily Stone, isn’t as pressed about reclaiming her title after previously admitting it was something she really wanted due to Emma Buntton of the Spice Girls, explaining during a 2018 appearance on the Tonight Show, quote, “I was super blonde and my real name was Emily, but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice, and guess what?
