‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ Reunion Honors Late Child Star Sawyer Sweeten | E! News
You know, I I I try to think about the the good moments. It was a bittersweet Everybody loves Raymond reunion. For the show’s 30th anniversary, stars Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, as well as former child stars Meline Sweden and Sullivan Sweden came together to reminisce about the show and its legacy. The cast taking a moment to pay tribute to their co-star Meline and Sullivan’s onscreen and real life brother Sawyer who died by suicide at 19 in 2015. Ray Romano praising Sawyer’s spirit during the special, expressing the cast’s grief over his loss. Sawyer’s brother Sullivan reflecting on the difficult times surrounding his death. Sawyer of course is no longer with us and we miss him and he just like you were just this bright energy light. None of us really expected what happened, adding, “But I try to think about the good moments, and often times that’s here on the set. [Music] [Music]

Another Hollywood child actor who committed suicide because he couldn't deal with the fact that he didn't accomplish anything! He wasn't talented he was just a prop in a show…. plenty of money but no purpose in life….. The Producers the parents the actors totally not involved in the production of his adult life just move on

It's so unfortunate that child actors end up having such a hard time as adults… very sad!😢
I really would love to see this sitcom renewed as Ray and Debra as the parents this time. Also to tackle the reality that suicide is real! It would be a different show for sure but they can take their truth and help many heal and perhaps prevent many from going through with something like that. RIP to Sawyer S. and peace to his beautiful family!!

This is so sad. We hear too many reports about bad things happening to child actors. There needs to be some oversight in that industry.
