Brian Austin Green Details “Tumultuous” Vanessa Marcil Breakup | E! News

Brian Austin Green gives insight into where he stands with his exes. On the latest episode of the Inside of You podcast, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum sheds light on his split from ex fiance Vanessa Marcel, calling their breakup extremely tumultuous. Green says, “You have this thing in your head of how you want to win. You want to be the smarter of the two, and you want to be acknowledged for that. So, you’ve got these unrealistic expectations.” And both of us did. Brian dated the General Hospital alum from 1999 to 2003, welcoming son Cashasis, now 23 at the time. Brian says in the episode that the relationship was a foundational one, sharing, “I learned a lot from my previous relationship with Cashas’s mom.” In the app, Brian also makes comments about where he stands with ex Megan Fox, with whom he shares three kids, explaining, “Megan gets along with his current fiance, Chara Burgess, sharing,” Megan and I are great. We just co-parent well and we stay out of each other’s way. Adding, “And I realized early on people separate for a reason.” Continuing, “We are not going to all of a sudden just be great friends. We stopped being together because we didn’t get along as well as we did when we first got together. Let’s take that expectation out of it and just resign to the fact that I only care about the health and wellness of my kids.
