“Annoyed” George Clooney Reveals Role He Lost to Brad Pitt | E! News
George Clooney reveals which major role he lost to Brad Pitt. In a November 29th Sunday Times interview, the actor reflects on the early days of his career when he and Brad were auditioning for the same roles, including a part in the iconic film Thelma and Louise. Jokingly, the 64year-old admits, “I got to the final test for a role in Thelma and Louise, and mother Brad got it. I didn’t watch Thelma and Louise for years because I was annoyed. In the 1991 film, Brad starred as the charismatic JD who scammed Susan Sandon’s Thelma and Gina Davis’s Louise out of their money. After seeing how the memorable performance boosted Brad’s career, the Batman and Robin alum felt even more disappointment, noting the part launched his career in film. He was doing sitcoms and crap before. So when it was the thing that could have launched me, the Oscar winner explains that at the time he was trying to make the jump from TV acting to becoming a film star himself. And while he didn’t get that breakout moment, the Kentucky native eventually landed his breakout film role in the 1996 movie From Dusk till Dawn, which kickstarted his blockbuster career. And as for where they stand now, George admits he’s long made peace with the past. Although his Oceans 11 co-star and longtime friend often teases him about it. He jokes, “Oh yeah, he gives me.” But of course, when I saw it, I was like, “Well, it had to be that guy. [Music]

This information didn't help me at all 😂
He didn’t lose a roll to Brad Pitt, if they could have Brad Pitt who is an infinitely better actor, he never stood a chance.
This voice over has one of the most repellent cadences I’ve ever heard.
