Dave Coulier Shares New Cancer Diagnosis After Beating Lymphoma | E! News

Dave Koulier is sharing a health update. Less than a year after the Full House star beat his diagnosis of non-hodkin lymphoma, he shared during his December 2nd Today appearance he was diagnosed with an HPV related tongue cancer in October. The 66-year-old, who’s been married to Melissa Bring since 2014, admits it’s been a really tough year, noting that his latest diagnosis was found by a chance discovery during a follow-up scan. With a doctor telling him, quote, “We don’t know what it is, but there’s something at the base of your tongue.” After multiple biopsies, Dave was told the growth on his tongue was cancerous, but completely unrelated to his previous non-hodkin lymphoma diagnosis. I was shocked. I went in for a PET scan, just a routine checkup to see how am I progressing, how am I healing up, and the PET scan revealed something in my throat, right at the base of my tongue. Turned out it was P16 squamus carcinoma. Despite his health challenges that he’s been experiencing, Dave emphasized that he’s doing okay. It’s been a battle, but I’m going through radiation right now. I’ll be finished December 31st, but what a roller coaster. [Music]
