Laura Gilmore is going back to Stars Hollow. Well, on paper. Nearly two decades after Gilmore Girls ended, the show’s lead Lauren Graham shares she and creator Amy Sherman Paladino are co-writing a book based on the series. As the actress writes on Instagram, Because We Love You, Amy and I are working on a new Gilmore Girls book, Get Your Coffee Ready. And as for what fans can expect from the plot, a press release per people magazine confirmed the project will detail how the small town dramdy with a my limited dialogue became a cultural touchstone. The statement continued through a blend of sharp wit, personal reflection, and never before shared stories. Lauren and Amy offer an intimate behind-the-scenes portrait of their creative partnership and the spark that define Lauraai Gilmore in the world of Stars Hollow. ‘Gilmore Girls’ alum Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore, announced she and series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino are co-writing a book based on the show. I have never been obsessed with a show …I avoided the o.c…. Laguna Beach…. Vampire diaries etc 😂❤😂❤ but this is something I even share with the almost seven year old (now watch me jinx it) ❤❤❤

That’s great news but I would’ve preferred they continue the actual Gilmore Girls story in a book 😭
I'd rather them do another season or final movie to really give it a proper ending. Leaving it as they did at the end of the revival was dumb.
Loved that L&L married, but we got cheated out of the wedding that should have happened 10 years earlier to then be cheated again in the revival. They could have at least had a short scene of the real wedding. We never even got to see her dress. See Luke be all sweet seeing her in her dress.
And don't get me started on Rory's storyline. It didn't fit a 32 year old grown adult as much asthey needed it to. It was unrealistic for her to turn down an opportunity to teach at Chilton, especially knowing she hit a major wall in the journalism industry. Writing the book was great, but Rory was still trying to live the poor artists life when she wasn't technically poor. It bothered me how she still, all those years later, wouldn't acknowledge her privilege. I dunno, as much as I loved parts of the revival, I'm still salty about how it ended.
Im glad to hear that this book and hopefully script is in the works because your writers left Rory pregnant and no clue who the father was. SAD. Please complete that script and show hanger. Not good for her and audience who love Rory. At least she knew her dad and her mom Lorali. Pleaseeeee correct that show hanger for us. Looking and waiting with expectancy ❤

Although the episodes were mixed and sometimes the girls rattled on, it was a cute series

They did not finish the show at all when they came back for a year in the life. The worst ending of all time. Why finish like that?

NOOOOO…it should be about after Rory had the baby and Jess helped her raise the baby and then boom Logan shows up and says he got a divorce and wants to see her and then he sees the child and questions it bc they look like him and then a love triangle begins again between Rory Jess and Logan….this show is my obsession it’s on repeat I have a problem
