Channing Tatum Tears Up Honoring Stephen “tWitch” Boss in Rare Speech | E! News

Channing Tatum is remembering his brilliant and bright friend Steven Twitch boss almost three years after his death. The Magic Mike star getting tearyeyed as he gave an emotional speech reflecting on his friendship with Twitch at the dance hall of fame ceremony in Los Angeles on December 3rd. Channing saying, “I promised myself I wasn’t going to cry. I do this because Twitch made me laugh all the time. But to say that it is an honor to sit up here and talk about that man is an understatement to say the least. I sat for a while and I was like, “What am I going to tell them?” He was just one of the most brilliant, bright people. He just loved so big and that’s why he just shines so much. The two formed a friendship after starring alongside each other in Magic Mike XXL in 2015. Channing joking that watching Twitch dance quote pissed him off, adding and then he smiles at you and then you fall in love with him and then that’s just Twitch. Channing ending his speech saying in part that Twitch made all of us fall in love with him and he rose everyone in the room. It was an honor to call him a friend. Twitch died of suicide in 2022.
