Miss Jamaica Suffered Intracranial Hemorrhage After Miss Universe Fall | E! News

More details are coming to light on the condition of Miss Jamaica Dr. Gabrielle Henry following her fall during the Miss Universe pageant preliminaries in Thailand last month. The Miss Universe organization and Gabrielle’s family are providing an update amid the 28-year-old’s continued hospitalization. The December 8th statement says Dr. Henry suffered a serious fall through an opening on the stage while performing her walk during the preliminary competition on November 19th, 2025, resulting in an intraanial hemorrhage with loss of consciousness, a fracture, facial lacerations, and other significant injuries. She was immediately admitted to intensive care in Bangkok, where she remained in critical condition under constant neurological monitoring and continues to require 24-hour specialist supervision. The Miss Universe organization goes on to reveal that Gabrielle will return to Jamaica in the coming days, accompanied by a full medical escort team, and will be transferred directly to hospital for continued treatment and recovery. The statement notes that the Miss Universe organization has covered all hospital, medical, and rehabilitation expenses in Thailand, as well as the accommodation and living costs for Dr. Henry’s mother and sister, who have remained by her side throughout this difficult period. The organization’s update comes weeks after Gabrielle fell off stage while walking during the pageant’s preliminary evening gown category and was subsequently carried out on a stretcher. Mr. Maker’s family also speaks out in a statement expressing their gratitude to the organization for its support throughout the ordeal, saying, “The Henry family is deeply grateful to the Miss Universe organization for their unwavering compassion, presence, and love shown. Their response so far has gone beyond professional responsibility and reflected devotion and protection of the family. In its statement, the Miss Universe organization also shuts down claims that it had initially blamed Gabrielle for the fall, calling out certain media reports suggesting that Dr. Henry contributed in any way to the incident and categorizing them as entirely inaccurate, adding, “The Miss Universe organization has never attributed blame to Dr. Henry and confirms that those suggestions are unfounded and do not reflect the facts. 2. Puerto Rico it’s been thinking about you, health. Sending you best vibes on this process. Miss, Jamaica ever had to felt. So much disaster on this Miss: Universe. It’s was true, that Fatima the new Miss universe, went to see you at the hospital That’s very sweet of her. Just saw a Latin tv show, Fatima was so happy to spend sometimes at the hospital with you!!!

    3. My question is why send her home to Jamaica for continual treatment to do what! Why not to the US or to the UK where she'll continue to receive appropriate treatment if so be it?? Where the medical systems are far way better with the higest top notch doctors if so be it?

      (2) they all claim when the fall off the stage she was supposedly expected to be okay with no life threatening injuries so what happened from there to this news??

      (3) she fractured her skull and went unconscious (brain dead).that same day she fell off the stage, a machine breathing for her, because she can't breathe on her own at this point.

      (4) she's going to be sent back to Jamaica because them doctors know there's nothing that can be done, only God can intervene on her behalf right now if his will be.

      (5) my next question is: is she already dead from that fall? because aviously if she's going to be sent home that means there's nothing more those doctors can do for her knowing she might have been already gone in my opinion.

      (6) wake up people we're living in a time of lies and deception, all this was a lie from the very beginning, when the truth could have easily be told. Life is spiritual,We now left with nothing but to intercede and pray for her.

      6) this is wickedness, evil and totally demonic, why was there a hole in the middle of stage?? Wickedness in high places. People stay close to God he's the only one that can take us through this evil, and wicked world we are living in. May God have mercy has we continue praying for this young lady even though i believe she's already been gone.πŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜”πŸ˜”
