when your Dad (who hasn’t bought a house since 1987) offers to help you look for a house #shorts
Hey, thanks for showing me the house. Yeah, come on in. Actually, do you mind if we wait on my dad? Dad, asking 350 for this. We won’t be here long. See crack in the ceiling right there. I’m so sorry about him. Something’s going on in this. Yeah. Yeah, I felt drafted as soon as I walked in.
shag carpet was trending last time he bought a house, but he swears he’s still an expert 😒

350? That’s 700 in Colorado
Lol
😂😂😂 that literally is me when house shopping
It's the most expensive asset you will likely ever buy – don't get taken for a ride. Doesn't matter how "nice" the owners are, they aren't going to come back and fix anything when it goes wrong three months after purchasing. Hit them with a bad offer.
He did that drill flip in one take, for sure!.
Ask Dad. He knows.
Yeah, realtors can be like car dealerships. My realtor flipped houses and it was cool seeing him actually battle with the inspector saying I don’t want this house cause of foundation issues and the costs behind it.
straight up can't get scammed
Based kid.
But you should stay smug and dont applogize =]
Modern day real-estate agents are destroying the working class.
“Oh no! I can’t scam this potential customer because their dad showed up and found the black mold and cracked foundation we painted over!”
I don't feel bad for the realiter, sorry.
More like (previous hoarder house, half the roof is collapsed, flood damage, asking : 350k
To paraphrase Mark Twain, "when I was 14 years old my dad was the biggest dumbass in the world, when we were talking 10 years later I was amazed how much the old man had learned in the last 10 years."🕺💯
And white boys wonder why no one takes them serious until theyre 40
Yeah they hate not scamming you
Most construction crews are slip-shod day laborers that became regulars working under a licensed builder but still slapping together 3rd world shit shacks that at first glance look legit but on closer inspection are junk. Palms get greased, inspections miraculously get passed, and the buyer gets screwed.
This took some effort and the G-DAD sold me not to buy it either 😅
Cracked ceiling as soon as you walk in?!?! Thats a bad foundation for sure!
When his Dad becomes a father
I bought a house my dad recommended without ever seeing it. He told me it was the hardest house hunting job he ever had because he knew his grandkids would be living in it. We lived in that house for over 40 years and to this day I marvel at how well it fit our needs.
My daughter is 12 and ive been a carpenter for 25 years. Im not sure i can avoid this.
