‘Love Island USA’ star Chelley Bissainthe announces split from Ace Greene | Page Six Radio

How’s Ace? Um, Ace is doing good. Yeah, he’s doing good. Yeah, he’s doing good. Oh, and are you guys like are the talks of like cuz are we what the moving in together? Not quite. We have a ways to go. We have a way to go. No moving in together. Um, yeah, there’s actually a lot just happening and stuff. So, Oh, are things okay? Um, well, are we are Okay. Are we moving? Okay. Are we moving on? So, Ace and I actually decided to part ways. Wait. Oh my god. Did you announce that? No. Oh my god. Shelley, I’m sorry. No. No. No. Don’t. It’s okay. Please don’t. Like, how are you feeling? Um, I mean, it really was a tough decision like for the both of us and very hard to decide. But, you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go. So, I think we just made got to that decision. Also getting to a point where because you both have love for each other to end it before that ends. You know what I mean? Exactly. Exactly. So it came from like a mutual level of respect. A mutual level of respect and understanding that you know we wanted this to work but sometimes things don’t work. Couples go through things that are very challenging and sometimes the best thing to do is just you know make a decision that needs to be made. I have to imagine too, it must have been hard for you guys to come to this conclusion when there’s a lot of eyes on you and a lot of people like being like we love you guys together and you’re like okay but we’re going through like we’re trying to be ourselves and the best that we can be how like were the conversations you both had with that? um you know we had a lot of conversation you know and at again at the end of the day it was just like a mutual agreement of like you know what this is for the best and we have I’ve definitely thought about like you know our supporters our fans and stuff but I I trust that they’ll understand that you know this decision needed to be made if we were able to come to this mutual decision like obviously you want to keep some things private and to yourself but for for the fans who are hoping for a definitive answer of like why did they break up? Like what would you what would you say like what what would what’s kind of like the main reason? Listen, a lot happens in relationships and you know I just feel like people can understand that you know I think out of respect for the both of us like we the details aren’t really necessary you know like I think we can be peaceful and just understand that you know we’re good with being able to be on the same page and that’s like such an interesting thing like you were mentioning Danny just like knowing that so many people ship you two ship the two of you and we’re supporting you guys. Did that sort of do you think that extended the relationship longer than it might have lasted because you kind of like felt in a way that you owed it to the fans to kind of like stick together? No. Because like our relationship from the very beginning was a understanding of like our relationship isn’t for the press, for the media or anything like it’s because I truly love you and you truly love me. But, you know, challenges happen in relationships and sometimes, like I said, like you want to just be able to say, you know what, let’s leave it right here before, you know, it turns into something never needs to be like we can leave off on light and love, you know? Yeah. And also, that’s what I kind of and especially you were talking about how much stuff you’re planning for 2026 to have to like to try to fix something that doesn’t need to be fixed cuz it could just be where it is like could slow you both down for that. Absolutely. And also now I totally understand why you’re like, “Yeah, I don’t think I want to go on a reality show to unpack all of this.” Yeah. And I mean, the Yeah. I just want to be Yeah. Just Yeah. I just want to be able to cuz honestly, this whole process is going to come with a lot of healing, a lot of growth, and a lot of just like time with myself, you know? So, I just would love that privacy and be able to just, you know, focus on myself going forward. And I I feel like that’s and to focus on yourself and then when you feel ready, you know, you can like be in a different place and you might even want different things in a future relationship. You know what I mean? Exactly. Like it’s all about I think we’re put on this earth to like experience people. So who knows how long that experience could last. Like sometimes we want it to lo last a lifetime and sometimes it’s just like it’s for that moment in time, you know? So it’s like very grateful nonetheless. And at the end of the day, I wish Ace the best. And for myself, I’m like, okay, I just have to focus, healing, growth. You’re like, I wish the best for myself. What’s next? Yeah, I truly do, you know. So, that’s where I’m at. I kind of am having a vision for single Shelly right now. You know, tell me tell me if you’re aligning with this vision. So, you’re single. You’re doing your thing. You accomplished so much at the start of 2026. You’re acting. You’re you’re doing the music correspondent stuff. You’re making all your dreams come true with Taylor. But then but then there’s an opportunity to go back to to Fiji as a bombshell. Single Shelly re-enters the villa. Would we do the show again or no? Oh, you’re see my face. I see the face. It’s saying no. Cuz you guys are listening. You couldn’t see our face. The face. Watch out. So you you would not entertain the idea of being a bombshell or going returning to the villa in that. Yeah. I don’t know about that. Maybe if they want me to guest host or something, I would love. Okay. We’re into that. Yes. Yes. But as far as like searching for love there and being a contestant, I think I had my fair share. Okay. [Music]
