Pamela Anderson is setting the record straight on her rumored romance with Liam Niss. In a December 9th cover story for People magazine, the actress addresses what really happened between her and her Naked Gun co-star behind the scenes after much speculation that the two were dating. She tells the magazine, admitting, quote, “If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while, but only after we finished filming.” Pam admits the two spent an intimate week together at his home in upstate New York, noting, quote, “I had my own room. Our assistants both came. Even my family stopped by.” Following what she calls their quote romantic lost week, during which Liam chased off a bear from the breakfast window in his bathrobe, Pam says, quote, “We went our separate ways to work on other films.” Though they reconnected while promoting The Naked Gun, the actress compared their time together to a Nancy Meyers film, saying, quote, “We were having fun. I was always laughing when people thought, oh, that’s a publicity stunt.” Unlike a publicity stunt, this is real. We have real feelings. But as for a long-term situation, unfortunately, that doesn’t seem in the cards. As Pam admits, quote, “I adore Liam, but we are better friends.” In full honesty, she continues, quote, “He’s such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me. I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives. [Music]
