I used to do that when bartending.. all the time. Customers would swear I used the wrong scotch … it was mostly scotch drinkers behaving snobbishly… I’d merely ice up a new glass, pour the scotch from old glass right into it, and send it back out. Customer would nod approvingly every time, like their sense of taste was so discerning. Freakin clowns.
