Andy Dick gives update after apparent overdose scare | Page Six Radio
Uh Andy Dick said he was alive. That’s good to know. Okay. He was alive after he was spotted slumped over in the street from an apparent drug overdose. So he spoke to TMZ by phone on Tuesday night telling them that he was alive and okay, but he would not disclose exactly what happened. We reached out to Andy Dick for comment, but he we did not immediately hear back. Call us back Andy. We are dying to talk to you. Earlier on Tuesday, Andy was hunched over while sitting on stair stairs outside of a building in Hollywood. And in one photo, Andy he appeared to be unresponsive. Uh he was slumped over and he at one point he was sprawled on his back on the ground as a man stood over him. It was a very the harrowing Yeah. harrowing is the perfect word. Yeah. Uh, so apparently his pals ran over to him and attempted to revive him. Others called an ambulance. TMZ reported that he was administered a shot of Narcan, which is, if you don’t know, a life-saving medication that quickly reverses opioid overdoses. Um, so yeah, he’s going through it. Has been. Yeah. Yeah. And I’m glad he survived this one because he’s been he has struggled with addiction over the years. I know, Andy. I’m sending good energy. I know when I saw those photos, I kind of was stopped in my tracks just cuz they were really terrifying and just scary and you hate to see anybody in situations like that. So, I hope he’s surrounded by people who can give him some extra support right now and just some some care and everything like that. But, uh yeah, and like he’s made efforts in the past to try and get better and to to kick his addiction. I he was he’s had stints of being clean and sober. He had a a podcast where he spoke to different kinds of specialists and doctors and basically it was kind of like a self-help journey for himself to see if he could stay sober and like I think he was just like looking for ways to be clean permanently. Yeah. U but you know addiction she came back and it’s okay. Pick yourself up and try again as Aaliyah said. Uhhuh. you know, it’s I’m but I’m glad that he’s alive and okay and he you know, I will say after such a harrowing event, like a nearly like fatal overdose to be on the phone with TMZ the next day, I mean, that’s kudos kudos to you, Andy Dick. Celebrities used to be built different, right? You know what I mean? Like back then Yeah. you’re like, “Oh my god, who we going to call?” TM. Yeah. This is such a It just You don’t see stories like this anymore. And it’s you really don’t see photos like this anymore. It feels very Charlie Sheen 2011. Uh it’s it’s actually very kind of like Tara Reed. Tara Reed in the hotel bar in Chicago slump slumped in the wheelchair unresponsive. She said she was allegedly drugged. Someone spiked her drink with something that caused her to go unconscious and end up in the hospital. That’s a whole mystery that we’re still trying to figure out. So yeah, it’s actually some I don’t Something’s in the air. Well, and also cuz I know the holidays get extra hard for people too this time of year cuz it’s like the holly and jolly, but also it’s like you’re burnt out, you’re stressed, it’s cold out, you’re tired, family’s annoying you sometimes. So, just take give yourself some grace. Take care of yourself. Take care of you know what I mean? Just everyone everyone be good. [Music]

Bro, you'll never be who you want to be. Just be who you are.
hunched/slumped over is fentenyl–see it in SF on our streets
My thoughts , Andy could get on the phone the next day with TMZ because he is like Robin Williams was.
So wound up and revved up inside, that's the reason for the drug use. I've personally known other people close to me like that.
How many ODs and deaths is this drug dealer responsible for? Forget the narcan…
