Travis Kelce Reacts to Possibly Never Playing With Patrick Mahomes | E! News

Travis Kelce’s future as a Kansas City Chief is still very much up in the air. The three-time Super Bowl champion revealing in a press conference with the Kansas City Chiefs December 19th that his primary focus right now is on his teammates and the three games the Chiefs have left to play this season. When asked if he’s reflected on whether or not these final games might be his last with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Travis had this to say. >> Oh man, that’s crazy. Uh, I think, you know, I’d rather just keep the focus of uh of the media and everything on this team right now and all the conversations that I have with the team and everything moving forward will be with them and it’s a unique time in my life. Just trying to make sure that the everybody here knows that I’m focused on trying to win football games at these last three games. >> Tra also revealing during the press conference he has always loved being a Kansas City Chief, saying, “I signed up to be a Kansas City Chief and I love doing what I do. I’ve been dreaming of being in these moments and playing for an NFL team since I was a kid. And I think getting back to that will give you any motivation you need to play this game. Travis has been on the Kansas City Chiefs his entire career, dating back to 2013, making this year his 13th season, a number his famous fiance knows all too well.

Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce addressed his “unique” position after friend and quarterback Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL, prematurely ending his season with the NFL team.
