George Clooney’s Sister, Adelia “Ada” Zeidler, Dead at 65

    George Clooney is mourning a tremendous loss. The Oscar winner sister Adelia Adah Zidler died December 19th at the age [music] of 65 following her battle with cancer. George confirms the sad news to people December 20th saying, “My sister Ada was my hero. She faced down cancer with courage and humor. [music] I’ve never met anyone so brave.” The actor who shares eight-year-old twins Alexander and Ella with wife Amal Clooney continues, “Amal and I will miss her terribly.” According to Ada’s obituary, she quote died peacefully surrounded by the people she loved at a hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. The elementary school art teacher was born in Los Angeles in 1960 before her parents relocated to Lexington, Kentucky, where George was born just a year later. In addition to her famous younger brother, Ada survived by their parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, as well as her second husband, Kenny, and her two children, Allison and Nick. A funeral mass in her honor is set for December 22nd.
