Piers Morgan hospitalized, will undergo hip replacement after fracturing thigh bone in fall

Famed British political pundit Piers Morgan, 60, revealed Sunday he was hospitalized with a fractured femur and will need surgery after a painful fall on a “small step.” The femur fracture was so bad that Morgan, a former columnist for The Post, needed hip replacement surgery that will leave him on crutches for about six weeks and unable to fly long distances for three months. “New Year off to a cracking start!” Morgan scoffed in an announcement on social media, with a selfie in a hospital bed.
