Selena Quintanilla’s Sister, Husband Detail Her Iconic Grammys Look | E! News

Selena Quintanilla’s husband Chris Pérez and sister Suzette Quintanilla revealed new details about the iconic dress the singer wore to the 1994 Grammy Awards in an interview with E! News. Suzette told E! News that when they were taking the dress off the mannequin to be shipped to Los Angeles for the Grammy Museum display, they found a rubber band Selena used to hold the hanger loops inside her strapless dress together. “Which is smart, because it allowed it to stretch with her movement,” Suzette said. “It’s still there. The rubber band is still there, we’re not messing with it. It’s holding the straps together for her.
