Hilaria Baldwin responded to backlash over the tank top and the short skirt her 12-year-old daughter Carmen, who she shares with husband Alec Baldwin, recently wore in an Instagram video. The former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant shared two separate videos on nurturing her kids in adulthood, saying “The way to take care of them is not through Instagram comments or shaming. What I do with my kids [is] I talk about it with them, like ‘hey, you’ve got to be careful online [and] on the street.” She added, “Wearing a tank top and a skirt and tights. Well, if a boy goes shirtless and wears shorts it's no big deal…Until i had 2 daughters i didn't wven realize how much of a double standard is..a 12 year old girl is becoming a woman and wants to feel like a yoing lady. Definitely not that inappropriate compared to the shorts many young girls and women wear in public nowadays…
