Bethenny Frankel Shares Stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease Diagnosis | E! News
Bethenny Frankel shared a major health update. The ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ alum shared that she had been diagnosed with stage two chronic kidney disease. Bethenny said in a Jan. 22 Instagram post, “Months ago, I decided that I was going to be very proactive about blood tests, bone density—all the things I had heard people talking about and I started to take a series of blood tests. And each time my kidney function was coming up low.” The 55-year-old explained that because of the pattern, she reluctantly made an appointment with a kidney specialist. During the visit, she was presented with her diagnosis and shared that it was potentially an issue she’d “have to deal with forever.” The Skinnygirl founder ended the video message by encouraging her followers to take their health seriously, saying, “I just wanted to tell you because [I] think it’s important to go get all your blood work done, all of it. Be thorough. And then do the follow-ups for anything that seems like an outlier.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1427645/bethenny-frankel-on-stage-2-chronic-kidney-disease-diagnosis

I'm stage 4. Most people have it but don't know it. Always ask your doctor for a Renal Panel blood test.
🙏🙏🙏🙏
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Drink TONS of water!💦 I’m keeping you in my thoughts.
Hope she rebrands Skinny Girl to Kidney Girl
I cannot think of another woman more repulsive than Bethenny Frankel.
Please get under the care of a nephrologist, kidney specialist. I am Stage 4 but doing well, but I get blood work every 6 weeks.
Do not get dehydrated. I quit drinking awhile ago, because I had a hormonal problem that gave me fatty liver. I dieted and fasted to get rid of it,but alcohol is dehydrating, so be careful.
My kidneys got damaged by high blood pressure, from taking a birth control pill in my 20s. I had no symptoms so it had been high for awhile. I quit the pill, and the blood pressure came down. My lab numbers got wonky at age 60, regarding my kidneys. I have been stable but am supervised by 2 specialists, a nephrologist and an endocrinologist.
This is very common as we age and sometimes the "culprit" might be things we think are healthy. Certain supplements, too much protein, alcohol consumption to name a few can contribute. Staying hydrated with water (not energy drinks) is important.
Always charming & smart, hang in there Bethenny
God bless you.
KIDNEY FUNCTION CAN BE FIXED THROUGH DIET. ELIMINATE RED MEAT, SPINACH, PEANUTS, BANANAS. DRINK A LOT OF PARSLEY TEA.
Drink plenty of water before you take a blood test.
So what
This happens to people across the world all the time, until it is stage 3 or 4 it is not real dangerous. My husband had stage 3 due to an autoimmune disease and they told him it could be years before there was issues or he could go to stage 4 rapidly. In his case a few months later he was at stage 4 renal failure. He is 9 years post transplant and doing good, even though he is in chronic rejection. Stage 2 is an alert but, but could be concerning if you do not listen to the warning.
Way to skinny, eating helps get the right nutrients, and she needs to stop blaming hotel beds for her rashes.
I’ve been Stage 3/4, I bounce back and forth for years now. Mine was mostly from Tylenol use and other OTC pain meds for chronic headaches.
Cancer Treatment is a gift that keeps on giving"""
It can weaken the core muscles causing the bladder and pelvic organs to fall out place
results are Prolapse, and never having a fully
drained bladder! Results are Cronic kidney disease
,urinary tract infection! Keep your core muscles strong, even that is not enough to stop it!
I'm so sorry to hear this, I love Bethany, she's an awesome human being. 🙏
Why is this video has an automated voice?
Keeping your fluid intake at half ones body weight
Trying to have every fluid drank by 9pm kidneys work its hardest from midnight to noon each day restless leg vitamin taken at midnight oil pulling ones bladder area oil pulling gum line reduces urine somehow working toward no more than seven urinations per day
Personally hot water beverage last 23 days huge odor reduction together with much lighter color urine together with major reduction in foot swelling
Being stage two means dialysis highly unlikely stage three still most likely however a small percentage chance thinking it's been written that dialysis has a six year warning before dialysis thinking such warning begins in stage three
Sadden to hear in yourself needing to join others on this journey however early detection becomes a more mindful lifestyle
I Personally hate cold water only recognizing cold water constricts well muscular hippa cold water hurts hot water expands blood vessels the relaxation in tension hot water much much much better mineself not a huge fan in having hot water however non tap hot water from coffee pot a true fan lesson finding ones true fan in health habits creates make sure I have mine three hot waters with mine meals when you come back with mine food
Sincerely,
Traci Heard
I have stahe 2 from an impacted kidney stone that caused severe Sepsis, body organs shutting down, but caused the right kidney to be lobular, no more Tylenol or Advil for her
So what? Many regular ALCOHOLIC drinkers like her end up DAMAGING their KIDNEYS. She should STOP DRINKING NOW😮😮😮😮😮
It’s amazing how many people that lived on Long Island have some kind of Kidney cancer. I myself had it, my X now has it. Apparently is is rampant out there. How you are ok ❤
Take care.
stage 2 is not a big deal. She is a narcissist.
Yeah, give up the alcohol.
This isn’t news & is very common!
A common side effect from anorexia.
Can we all text Bethenny about our health problems? No? Than leave us alone, Bethenny. You are a crashing bore.
Big deal! Tell me about it when it progresses to End Stage Renal Disease and she is on Dialysis 3 times a week. And waiting on a transplant list like thousands of other people.
Sad…
Possibly alcohol. Booze is poison
I totally stopped all alcohol and within a few years my kidney disease was gone and my kidney function totally normal.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself seems like that you constantly seeking attention 🤮my opinion
Needs to stop taking NSAIDs like naprosyn, ibuprofen etc and drink a healthy amount of water every day.
Wish mine was Stage 2. That’s almost perfect, why are you worrying about this?
Prayers 🙏
If you almost died from a fish allergy, you don’t eat caviar. I’m a doctor.
Common as you age. In the words of my nephrologist, “We all have stage two kidney disease.”
My mother was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease in her 50s. She’s hardly ever touched alcohol, always eaten very well and never been overweight. She’s now coming up to 90 years old, still going strong, treasurer of her friendly club, and never had any symptoms of it or medication or treatment for it.
I do every 4 minths
I am experiencing significant emotional distress related to my sister’s health. She has been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer with lymph node metastasis, along with diabetes, and later developed a rare form of cancer, medullary thyroid cancer. Her doctors have told us that her life expectancy may be limited to around two years. She is only 37 years old and is overwhelmed by fear of death, something she has never experienced at this level before.I find myself crying daily and struggling to cope with the uncertainty, anticipatory grief, and helplessness I feel. I hold onto hope and prayer for a miracle, but the emotional burden has been heavy. Sharing this feels difficult, yet I am seeking compassion, emotional support, and understanding during this profoundly painful time.
