Claire Danes Details “Meltdown” After Learning She Was Pregnant at 44 | E! News
Claire Danes went through a rollercoaster of emotions amid one of her pregnancies. The ‘My So-Called Life’ alum recalled how she “totally” freaked out when she learned she was pregnant at age 44 with her and husband Hugh Dancy’s third child, a daughter named Shay born in 2023. “I called my OBGYN in convulsive tears,” Claire told Amy Poehler on the Jan. 27 episode of the ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum’s ‘Good Hang’ podcast. “It was a pure—it was all meltdown. None of this was by design. I didn’t know it was physically possible. I was 44.” Claire is also mom to sons Cyrus, 13, and Rowan, 7, with Hugh. It’s interesting to hear about the emotional side of unexpected pregnancy, especially later in life.
She is bat $hit crazy! I remember when she was messing with Billy Crudup and he left his pregnant girlfriend for her and you see they are NOT even together anymore. I think Hugh is trying to keep her pregnant because she has a wondering eye and looks like an old hag!
That was a terrible thing to say and 44 is not old!!!
I cannot stand social media. She feels bad about bringing a beautiful child into this world at age 44!? This is what we are taught to think.
