Dylan Efron Defends Ashley Tisdale Amid “Toxic” Mom Group Drama | E! News

Dylan Efron defended friend Ashley Tisdale amid the fallout from her viral essay about breaking up with her “toxic mom group.” The reality star—whose brother Zac Efron costared with Ashley in ‘High School Musical’—said on the Jan. 21 episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,’ “I try to stay out of that so I don’t know too much. All I know is that Ashley, like since I was a kid, she’s been so sweet to me. So I can’t envision her doing anything malicious to the mom group. So hopefully it’s just a misunderstanding.” Earlier this month, Ashley—who shares daughters Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 16 months, with husband Christopher French—detailed her decision to leave her circle of fellow moms, alleging she gradually felt “frozen out of the group” as she caught glimpses of the other members hanging out without her on social media. And while Ashley didn’t name any of the members of her former clique, social media users quickly noted that she previously shared glimpses of herself bonding with other celebrity moms including Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor and Mandy Moore. However, the actress’ rep later denied that her essay was about any of the three, telling TMZ her words had been twisted online. Full Story:
