After Catherine O’Hara—who starred in Tim Burton movies such as ‘Beetlejuice’ and ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’—died Jan. 30, the renowned filmmaker paid tribute to her “light.” Alongside a photo of the actress with fellow co-stars Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, And Michael Keaton from ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,’ Tim wrote in the caption, “Catherine, I love you. This picture shows how much light you gave to all of us. You were a special part of my life and after life.” The sweet tribute comes just hours after it was announced that Catherine—who is survived by her husband Bo Welch and their kids Matthew Welch, 32, and Luke Welch, 28—died after battling an undisclosed illness in Los Angeles, where she was transported to a hospital in “serious condition” that morning, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
