Football fans are pumped up for Super Bowl 60. The biggest sporting event of the year will feature the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks in a rematch of Super Bowl 49. That legendary game ended with one of the most iconic Super Bowl moments ever, when Malcolm Butler intercepted Russell Wilson at the goal line to seal the championship victory.
The two teams look much different over a decade later. Sam Darnold has gone from draft bust to NFL superstar. He leads a high-octane offense featuring Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker. It is the Seahawks defense that is really scary, though. The Patriots, meanwhile, quickly improved from being one of the worst teams in the NFL to one that could contend for years to come, and a Super Bowl victory would prove that the dynasty didn’t end when Tom Brady left. Drake Maye is the team’s new quarterback, and he is already playing at an MVP level.
The Super Bowl is about much more than just the action on the field, though. The commercials are iconic, everyone tunes in for the halftime show, and the entirety of Super Bowl week is filled with entertaining events. The Pro Bowl is even taking place during the week this year. One of the most celebrated and anticipated Super Bowl events every year is The Players Tailgate. So, what can be expected from the pregame party this year?
