Savannah Guthrie Shares Plea Amid Mom’s Disappearance | E! News

Savannah Guthrie is looking to the public to help pray for the safe return of her mother Nancy Guthrie, 84, who disappeared from her Arizona home in what police think may have been an abduction. “We believe in prayer,” she wrote in a Feb. 2 Instagram post. “We believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. We believe in goodness. We believe in humanity. Above all, we believe in Him.” The 54-year-old also shared a verse from Isaiah that she and her family have been turning to for comfort in this time, before concluding with the words, “bring her home.” While local Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed Nancy’s cognitive health, he said during a Feb. 2 press conference that her physical health meant she would have been unable to leave the home on her own. 1. This is absolutely horrifying. I heard there was blood found at the scene. I cannot imagine my mother or grandmother making it to her 80s to have her life stolen from her. Hope she is found alive and well.

    2. Poetic justice. Where is the sympathy from the fake news media for Americans killed by violent crimes? Where is the sympathy from the fake news media for victims killed by illegal immigrants?

    3. Suppose your prayers aren’t answered, what do you say? “Well it’s God’s will, thy will be done.”
Fine, but if it’s God’s will and he’s gonna do what he wants to anyway, why bother praying in the first place? – George Carlin

    4. So what. Savannah has been reporting fake news for years. My guess she will be reporting a news story soon that will hit home and she wont be able to lie about this. It will be her first truthful story in years.
