Now that is a song with proper lyrics and tonr instead of excessive mad dancing sessions and less efforts on lyrics and vocals like katseye ( i do love them but they dont have any actual deep emotional song that will make you feel like this)

She was doing too much. The reason the song works is the juxtaposition of the lyrics vs the melody and chord progression. It’s a bop. If you take that away, cake yourself in make up and ham up the whole song it’s just bad karaoke.
