So lemme get this straight. The black guy doesn’t put in more than the minimum amount of work, complains constantly, and his only redeeming quality seems to be his ability to be angry and curse people out?
Sucks because they both should be right . You should give good service because it’s what you want and it makes good people feel nice to eat good food in a good environment. But in order to do that you need to be paid fairly and customs need to not be assholes. Sadly that only comes in family owned and operated restaurants that’s why they are the best. Even if it’s a 13 year old Chinese boy taking you order and yelling it his uncle the cook who’s cooking and smoking a cigarette at the same time you know that gonna be some of the best food you had in you life because it’s there life it’s what that family does and enjoys even if they yelling. Family owned donuts shops have some of the nicest and most hard working people in America. Honestly anywhere owned operated by an immigrant family is the best .
All these younger generations suck at working. They have no capability to do the basics. They want to make 20 an hour with zero experience. Life isn't going to wait for you to figure it out. It's called work for a reason. Tbh all the minimum wage rates that have increased over the years had made things worse. I would fire a kid like that in a heartbeat.
This is a very touchy subject because sometimes hard work pays off and many times it doesn’t. My friend worked at this place for 15 years and never complained and always did his best. Owner promised him manager job and a raise. 15 years and he never got it. Finally he quitted to open his own business and the owner then wanted to give him the promotion. Thank God he didn’t take it and now owns a business that does very well for him. Then I again I started from the bottom at a different company and now an assistant manager with a raise
I worked for a company that worked us 10hrs a day 6 days a week. The machine operator got paid 24 an hr, that was decent pay with benefits but it was mindless. I chose to join the Marines.
And because his generation was brainwashed with “hard work pays off” they expect the newer generation to follow in those steps, and while yes hard work does pay off it doesn’t mean sacrifice your body to a company who views you as a ant in a colony ruled by the queen.
This is why capitalism is a shit system, you get paid the legal minimum but expected to work unbelievably hard, while others get paid £10 a second and can just sit there 90% of the day
The rich continue to fail upwards, buying their third house while the workers remain uncertain as to whether they should use the last of their savings to put food on the table or gas in their car.
The wealthiest “man” alive won’t even pay child-support to the mother of his child.
The message is awesome. Neither side looks bad, they both have strengths the other doesnt.. They come together and help each other out. We need more media like this
Honestly, getting fast food that was made from someone who actually cares and likes their job makes the food taste 100% better. Truly one of the few jobs I believe aren't paid anough.
There's something called having pride in your work. No matter where I worked or how little I got paid, I still did my best. Not for the boss but for me. If you have a problem with the pay, go get a higher paid job. It's not impossible like people claim. I know so many examples of people I personally know with no college education and no money saved up moving up to high paying jobs within only a few years of trying. So people can tell me how it's almost impossible to do until they're blue in the face, I know the truth. And I also moved up, but just more slowly, but it's not the system that kept me down, I was just a bit reluctant to seek the higher paying jobs with more responsibility until relatively recently… 🤷♂️
So he literally never bothered to apply for a different, higher paying job, or develop the skills to increase his worth. Him working there for low pay was 100% his choice but the reddit midwits in the comments are acting like he's some kind of victim of capitalism. Holy moly I can see the neon colored hair through the comments.

You'll never get what you don't ask for

He lost his dinosaur.
Minimum wage minimum work
Step bros made him work a fast food job
The edit was fantastic. "Do you realize how much this place has profited off your crotch!?"
He didn’t realize that he SHOULD HAVE been paid more and treated better.
One of the crazy things about working is your usually paid more for a lack of loyalty rather than loyalty.
Phenomenal motion picture.
This is what I went through at my last job. They burned me out. I quit. Now I can't get a job
Holding the check WHILE it's being healed in the receivers hand… not ok imo

Ask someone to be fair or explain them what upsets you and suddenly you're the villain and they hurl insults. Bum world.
Hard workers get paid the least
If hard work made you rich, the rich wouldn't let you do it for them.
