    1. Rip, and I'm sooo glad that you have your faith and your family can be better at peace than they otherwise would. Let's pray for his loved ones for understanding and comfort and peace and strength and healing supportive prayers. Amen

    3. True story when I was 13 years old I live lived in Puerto Rico because my father was in the military I went to school on a military base, three doors down had just came out with a hit song kryptonite and was doing a concert im San Juan after the concert one of the roadies invited my mother back to the hotel not knowing she was going to bring her son lol we went to the hotel hung out in the lobby next to the Casino with the whole band for hours and my hand to God the nicest bandmate was Brad the lead singer.. he didn't have to sit there and talk to a 13-year-old kid for hours after a big concert in Puerto Rico but he did and he was genuinely the nicest most genuine member of the whole band

    7. We were going to see 3 Doors Down at the Alaska State Fair last year, unfortunately it was cancelled when he announced the diagnosis. A real bummer, I never got to see them live, but as a bassist I have covered many of their songs live and they always got a good pop. Duck And Run is still one of my favorites to play. Sad that this great band will never be the same without him. RIP.
