Everybody Loves Raymond (TV Series) | Debra “Wins” the Fight, Then the Cookie Jar Appears 😱

Marie Barone storms in demanding her beloved, sentimental cookie jar back, accusing Debra of “borrowing it and never returning it.” Debra swears she already gave it back, and the argument escalates fast—Marie’s tone turns into pure judgment, basically calling Debra careless and unreliable, and Debra snaps, pushing back hard and demanding Marie admit she’s wrong. Shockingly, Marie does the unthinkable and apologizes, and the whole family freezes like they just witnessed a miracle. Debra finally feels that rare, sweet victory… until the very next second, Ally casually walks in holding the missing cookie jar—because it’s been sitting in her room the whole time, used to store crayons and random junk. Debra’s triumph collapses on impact as she realizes Marie wasn’t wrong at all, and that “historic apology” is about to be taken back.

    1. Is it cuz I'm not American that even after the entire context of the episode, I still don't understand the reactions.. they don't make sense to the situation.. it'd make so much more sense if that was filled with grandma's ashes..

    2. Yeah, ok, in the modern era, "child innocently dumps out treasured loved one's reliquary for crayon storage" is way funnier than "misremembered repurposed hand me down cookie tin"… especially during the modern economic climate where Boomer-babies are on the receiving end of "Ohhhh…. the enamled porcelain thimble Great Aunt Medulla smuggled out of Chechnya during The Purge." while their kids think 9-11 was made up.

      Ask me how I know.

    3. Linda was an extremely unlikable character in the series. I know it was all jokes but they didn't make the character where you really had symptoms for her

    4. I used to watch this with my ex wife’s grandmother while our daughter was little. I’m not saying forced but she didn’t like shows that did too much so I sat with my baby and her and spent hours watched everybody loves Raymond when it came on.

    5. From the comment I read, you need to find somewhere to put that thing, give her a new container for her stuff. And hide that in a place that she hasn't looked already.Somewhere maybe up high
