People often miss understand the point of the second constitution. It is there to stand between you and any president/war general thinking about forming a military coup and holding US citizens hostage.
The main point was NOT to turns nukes and bazooka into a household appliance but to make sure that if needed, we the people, are able to defend ourselves, without the need to relied on outside military organizations.
