    Heather McComb will always hold James Van Der Beek in her heart. Following the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star’s death at the age of 48 on Feb. 11, Heather—who was married to James from 2003 to 2010—detailed her heartbreak over saying goodbye to “beloved” James. “I am especially heartbroken for his incredible wife Kimberly [Van Der Beek], his beautiful children and his amazing family,” Heather wrote in her Feb. 12 tribute, “and all of his family and friends who I know he loved deeply.” Accompanying her tribute was a black and white photo of a much younger version of her and James holding each other close, which she explained was taken on her 21st birthday. “This is how I will always see James,” Heather continued. “Innocent, kind and pure of heart. What a journey we shared over the years.       She's full of crap and looking for press and sympathy. Why'd she let him die alone? Rest well James, there were people that really cared as did our Lord.

      He seemed like a great guy, but the fact he passed with 6 children all under age 16 and his wife had to start a go fund me page because she implied that they were completely broke really changed my opinion . I guess it’s great that it just hit 1.6 million, hopefully she hires a better financial planner

      I actually think that was incredibly sweet that his ex-wife had such kind things to say about him. It really shows the type of person he is. She didn't have to make a public comment at all. I don't think it came across as self serving

      I didn't here anything bad here. Clearly his ex Wife, held BOTH James and his now Widow, in very high regard.
      No, she didn't have to, but l received her thoughts, as empathetic and graceful, regardless of the Narrator.
      R.I.P. James, and may Peace come sooner, to his Beloveds.

      I remember how he always talked about her and said he was gonna get married with an actress etc.. then they did it and he talked about it again. They seemed very happy. They were in great term for their divorce too, he said you gotta love ,support each other to divorce😊
