Christy Carlson Romano Fights Tears While Sharing Positive Cancer Screening Results

Christy Carlson Romano struggled to hold back tears as she shared a troubling health update with fans. On Feb. 17, the former Disney Channel star posted an emotional video to Instagram, which she began by sharing that she and husband Brendan Rooney had recently gotten cancer screenings. Christy went on to explain she has a family history of cancer, including both of her parents and her grandmother, and ultimately lost her father to the disease. The 41-year-old then revealed that while her husband’s screening came back negative, hers did not.
