Speaking from personal experience with someone a lot like Blake, I can say with high confidence she was feigning ignorance about what Ben was going through. As much as she wanted a favour from him, I reckon she was also fishing to have him spill his tea to her. I honestly think she believes she has some kind of influence over him, and genuinely thought if she just acted like they’re best buddies, he’d reciprocate it. And any response would have been an affirmation to her that she did have influence over him- the smartest thing he could do is completely ignore her
Ben would tell JLO to do something different, but she wouldn't listen to his direction for the documentary.
I think she knew of his situation with JLO, and Blake was throwing shade at Ben. I don't stay in contact with my Exes and now that I am divorced, not even my kids' dad has access to me. I don't get how other people stay friends with their exes.

Also all of their kids are young, the eldest is his daughter with garner who’s still young and all these kids are children of divorced that’s enough trauma they don’t need to watch this film at their age.
