DO NOT detox from alcohol alone if you get withdrawals like this. Alcohol withdrawals are super dangerous and can literally kill you. Professionals can help your body taper off (usually with benzodiazepines or something like that). If you gotta do it without real medical care for whatever reason, having some buddies help you taper off the alcohol is probably safer than cold turkey. I don’t know how many of us can moderate like that unsupervised though or we probably wouldn’t have gotten there to begin with.
