What Christina Applegate Hopes Her Daughter Learns From Her Emotional Memoir

Christina Applegate is opening up about her journey with MS and the long road before it. The actress joined “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and noted that her upcoming memoir “You With the Sad Eyes,” out March 3, unpacks painful memories from her past. Though the book uses personal resources such as journal entries she wrote growing up, Christina explained that she hopes to convey a message of understanding to her 15-year-old daughter, Sadie. The “Married with Children” alum used a cane while walking on stage for her interview with Kimmel, but proved she’s maintained her signature humor – even sharing that she’s given her limbs famous names like Meghan Markle.

  1. My heart goes out to her and her family. I, understand because I know others with MS and Parkinson's and I have a few genetic things that affect my whole body. You do what you must to go on every day.

  2. She's a hero! She made this hilarious film in 2002, 'The Sweetest Thing' film. It is my comfort food. I love her strength and energy and support for people who suffer too. ❤
