I've had men opening doors for me since 18 and I was also in the military, so I definitely have survival skills but this has nothing to do with survival he personally feels the way a man can show respect is by opening the car door for the ladies he cares about and I agree. Ladies you can be strong and independent and still ask for little things this like this. He's not paying your bills or carrying you on his back it's a door lol. Men still ask for home cooked meals and for you to take care of the kids but you need to open your own door just to show you're independent yeah no…make them take the time out to do what you feel is important because they might cheat on you whether you open your own door or not at least they treated you like a queen before they screwed you over.

What nobody seems to understand about actually opening the door for a woman, it may be a gentlemen with good manners . But It also has everything to do with awareness….you open the door and are the last in the car so that you have all eyes on your surroundings at all times and don't miss anything that might occur or happen, being the man is about being the protector, we've all seemed to forget this. But as I realize most people don't feel they need one another anymore, so i digress.
