Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, known for keeping their relationship out of the public eye, made a rare joint appearance to celebrate Mendes’ 52nd birthday on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.’
The couple, who first met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, were all smiles as they joined Fallon and the live audience for the special occasion.
The celebration included a marching band holding a sign that read ‘Happy Birthday Eva!’ while colorful confetti filled the studio.

Mendes was chic in loose-fitting jeans paired with a printed black shirt and a striped cardigan, while Gosling opted for a sleek black ensemble with a dark gray blazer.
The couple, who share two daughters, Esmeralda (11) and Amada (9), have largely kept their family life private.

Gosling recently shared how his daughters influenced his upcoming sci-fi film, Project Hail Mary, set to release on March 20.
