Noma chef René Redzepi steps aside amid abuse allegations and protests

    The owner and founder of world-famous restaurant Noma announced on March 11 that he was stepping away following protests and allegations against him of physical and psychological abuse of staff. Rene Redzepi made the announcement on the day a Noma pop-up restaurant was due to open in Los Angeles. The famed original Noma restaurant, in Copenhagen, has been named world’s best restaurant on multiple occasions.
