Prince William, Kate Middleton Surprise Tourists During Market Outing | E! News

Prince William and Kate Middleton made quite the splash during a March 12 visit to London’s Borough Market, stepping behind the counter at many of the food and beverage stalls. During the couple’s visit to the marketplace—which has existed for more than 1,000 years—they browsed a selection of products from cheesemonger Todd Trethowan, poured some pints at Southwark Brewing Company and handed out dessert at Humble Crumble. Additionally, the pair suited up in lifejackets and waterproof gear at the Royal National Lifeboat before getting a trip on one of the organization’s orange vessels, learning about the Institution’s important work.
