Why Marilyn Monroe’s House Is Still in Danger

    #marilynmonroe #house #inside #destroyed
It was the only home Marilyn ever owned. And this house has seen two very different battles. The first was private: a woman who’s trying to build something real and solid for herself. The second was public. A fight, when developers, lawyers, historians, neighbors, tour guides, and fans argued over whether this little white house was just real estate or a piece of memory you’re not allowed to bulldoze.

    1. Don't you think that it would cause controversy if you were trying to terdown her home. So many homes over the years have been torn down with the idea of rebuilding and that never happens and there's just a giant parking lot.

    2. Oh save the house! I've stood outside the gates and said a quiet prayer for Marilyn. You can see over the wall if someone gives you a boost or you are
really tall. Any building in LA with any kind of history is bulldozed in a heartbeat. Leave it alone.

    3. We believe they should save the house, it is part of American history , like the iconic Marilyn Monroe( Norma Jean Baker) , rest in peace. Too bad they can't turn the house into a museum & buy back all the items that belongs to Marilyn Monroe. We still have Marilyn memorabilias, we have collected from our visits to the Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego , California. There is a gift shop inside Hotel Del Coronado selling all things Marilyn Monroe. 🐦🐦🐦🦅🦅🦅

    4. SAVE the house! If the current owners really want to build a compound, move to Calabasas!! These historical properties bring interests and revenue to the city of Los Angeles. Shame on the current owners.

    5. City of Los Angeles should purchase the house and restore it as much as possible to how it was in Marilyn's life and keep it as a museum with small groups allowed to visit at select times to minimize crowding.

    6. Buy something else and respect the house…MM is an ICON! The house is a testament of what she really loved ! To much of her is already destroyed. HANDS OF!
