‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Oscar Winner FINISHES Speech After Being Cut Off
One of the Oscar-winning songwriters of the “KPop Demon Hunters” anthem “Golden” was able to finish their speech after being played off onstage. The team behind the Best Original Song hit was honored at this year’s Academy Awards, with co-writer and singer EJAE delivering heartfelt remarks. However, when one of her fellow winners then took the mic, the orchestra began playing a music cue to wrap up, prompting co-writer Mark Sonnenblick to make it clear he wasn’t happy about his colleague being cut off. When speaking about the win in the backstage press room, the group acknowledged the now-viral moment and gave their member a chance to finish his remarks.
