Marilyn Monroe couldn’t even rest in peace… because of these two men.

Marilyn Monroe is buried at the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles. Two men later arranged to be buried unusually close to her.

Businessman Richard Poncher was placed in the crypt directly above Monroe in 1986. His widow later reported that he had requested to be buried face-down toward her.

Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy, bought the crypt next to Monroe in 1992, saying he wanted to spend eternity beside her. He was buried there after his death in 2017.
