This whole part of the movie is ruined by the fact that immediately before arriving to drop off the women he murders a bunch of innocent people by burning a hotel down with everybody inside because they weren't able to house and feed him and his party of 3 violently insane women. Because they haven't aten in days, rather than simply buying some food from the people in the hotel, he decides to come back in the middle of the night set the place on fire and steal one cooked pig and leave. Doesn't even take more than a day or two worth of food lol. Then right afterward we're supposed to believe he's some changed good man
