    1. One thing i learnt here is; Simplicity while being rich doesn't make you a fool or a scumbag.
I think i prefer to be simple and nice while still being rich and wealthy. God šŸ™ please make it so for me, in Jesus Name, Amen.

    2. Its important to remember that not every homeless person is just some drug addicted vagrant that lost their home by being a deadbeat. And that a fair amount of the homeless people that do drugs only started because the stress of life broke them and the only way they could hide from pain was by drowning it out. Not to mention that its extremely hard to quit most drugs, not just because of the addiction but also because of the withdrawal symptoms.

    3. Exactly what having wealth should look like. It's not a constant job or effort to spread charity. Just help where you see you can. Carl is a human like he said. Gave him something to feel useful doing, and paid him for his time. Treated him like anyone else.

    4. sometimes i go for days without speaking to anyone and to hear my name makes me uncomfortable at all times maybe because i don’t like my name and prefer to be called something else even then for anyone to remember my name makes a small part of me smile and say hey i exist someone saw me and acknowledged my existence on this earth

    5. This show was so good up to the point of that twist. It could’ve been a nice neo noir story but they chose to make it a weird sci-fi that made no sense.

    6. Can you just give someone your phone and they’re able to use it with no problems? I don’t think it’s that simple. Maybe a burner phone I don’t know about those.

    7. This show was promising and then when the whole alien race masquerading as people with him being one of them I thought holy shit just when this show was really gaining traction especially after like 4-5 episodes in when they reveal that while I was saying around episode 3 hold on they better not be ramping up to drop some alien horse shit

    8. In 2019 I was homeless for 6 months and my god I knew 9 out of 10 of the "normal" people looked down on me. But when that 1 would go out of there way to be nice to me it meant so much just to have a decent human interaction if nothing else.

    9. I don't think this happens a whole lot in the course of any given day but I believe it does happen. And sometimes, maybe even a majority of the times, it feels as good for the giver as it does the receiver.

    10. This is pure fantasy. Which is fine unless you start believing that it is anything like real life. If you think I'm being cynical and want to believe in fairy tales, try what he did a few times in real life and see how it works out.

    11. It's strange he was not my favorite actor at all as matter fact I didn't like him but it's all changed and I'm one of his biggest fan

    12. When I was in between jobs I had to sleep in my car for a few nights. I walked to subway to get a sandwich and a panhandler guy who was my age started yelling at me that I was an asshole because I saw him and I didn’t talk to him or offer to help him…. I didn’t notice him because I was absolutely engrossed in my own problems at the time. Really opened my eyes in the moment that we’re all very short sighted. I was ignoring everything around me because I was so stressed about myself- this dude was so self conscious about his own situation that he thought anyone not talking to him was trying to say something negative. The reality was we were just two kids with lots of issues who couldn’t see each others problems.

    13. Keanu Reeves does this kinda thing for real maybe not exactly but still goes and sits with them has lunch and talks the person like he’s human not just throwing money at them or walking on the other side of the street to prevent them from talking to you
