Jennifer Love Hewitt Chloro 2x in 9-1-1 S8 E9 (2025)
Maddie gets a call from John who is manipulating his voice. He claims to have kidnapped Jayna. Maddie decides to bargain with John to free Jayna and the police will never find him. The police trace the call to what ends up being a vacant lot. John gets angry because Maddie lied and disconnects the call. An ex-girlfriend leads the police to another place he lived, but he is gone by the time the SWAT team gets there. Richard (same person after investigating by the police) calls Maddie again and shoots himself while on the line (or so we think). The police rescue Jayna. Later that night someone comes into Maddie’s house, she thinks it’s her husband. Whomever it is hits her with a crowbar. The voice is manipulated just like in the calls to Maddie. It turns out to be Detective Amber! Amber chloroforms Maddie to end the episode. Amber gives Maddie another dose so she won’t remember overhearing Amber’s “conversation.”
